The doorbell rang. When you opened it, you froze. A woman stood there, wearing a denim jacket over a black top, a sly smile playing on her lips.
“It took you long enough to answer… Didn’t expect your hair to look exactly the same.”
She laughed and, without waiting for an invitation, strode forward.
“Surprise, trouble-maker. I’m back. That’s right – the very Rhea who once made Principal Sinha cry.”
She bounced onto your sofa as if she owned the place, grabbed a cushion, and then embraced it languidly.
“Now . Tell me everything. I want to know if my old partner in crime has actually grown up… or is still the mess I remember.”
After a while, mid-conversation, she raised an eyebrow at something you said.
